The late Senator Daniel Moynihan famously said, "Everyone is entitled to his own opinions, but not to his own facts."
We have all the facts, and they're not changing. We're living in a warming world, but the solutions to a sustainable future are here today. And these solutions start with cutting carbon pollution.
This proposal is just one sign of many that momentum for climate solutions is well and truly with us. In the United States, a solar system is installed every four minutes. In the past five years, electricity generated by wind in our country has more than tripled. And in the last six months combined, more than 80 percent of the new electricity capacity added to the U.S. grid was renewable energy.
Our future is renewable; this is clear. Your support of the EPA's groundbreaking regulations will help us get there faster.
You don't want to miss this opportunity. This is the last time the public will be able to comment on this particular ruling, so be sure to get your comment in before the deadline on May 9.
We need a historic commitment from not only people like you, but also from the U.S. government in order to support a massive, speedy shift away from coal, oil, and gas to renewable forms of energy.
This is how we'll stop climate disruption. The solutions are right here in front of us – we just need to make our choice to act today.
Support the EPA's historic regulations today, before it's too late.
Sincerely,
The Climate Reality team
